PAYMENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Once payment is received and processed, the registration is automatically confirmed by an electronic message sent to the submitter's computer screen. Please make a note of the receipt number of this message, for future reference. After about two weeks, the ASA2008 Meetings Coordinator will send a confirmation message to the email address nominated on the registration form. This message is a record of the submitted registration and payment information, and should be retained by the registrant.ALTERATIONS TO REGISTRATION
Alterations must be made in writing by mail to the LOC Chair (Andre Fletcher, M013, School of Physics, University of Western Australia, 35 Stirling Highway, Crawley, WA 6009, Australia; or email: abf@cyllene.uwa.edu.au).NO FEE REDUCTION FOR NON-ATTENDANCE
Note that there will be no fee reduction if the registrant does not attend any one or more of the social events already included in the registration fee.VENUE CAPACITY LIMIT
If a venue approaches its full capacity, we will need to restrict or close access to that venue. If we close one or more venues, there will be appropriate reductions in the online registration fees. Please register yourself, and buy your guest''s tickets, as early as possible to secure your places for venues.CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Any amendments and/or refunds must be notified in writing by mail to the LOC Chair (Andre Fletcher, M013, School of Physics, University of Western Australia, 35 Stirling Highway, Crawley, WA 6009, Australia; or email: abf@cyllene.uwa.edu.au). Cancellations received in writing up to Friday 6 June 2008 will receive a refund, less an administration fee of 20% of the full payment made. Cancellations received after Friday 6 June 2008 will not receive a refund, even in the case of non-participation, but a substitute delegate is welcome to attend the conference without penalty. An exception to this Conference Policy rule might be made only in exceptional circumstances, after consultation with the LOC Chair (Andre Fletcher: abf@cyllene.uwa.edu.au).INSURANCE DISCLAIMER
No insurance of any kind is included in the registration fees. If you believe you may need insurance, we recommend that at the time you register for the conference, and book your travel, you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The conference organisers, the meeting venue organisations, and their staff, cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, accident, loss, theft, natural disaster, death, or otherwise any other personal misfortune occurring before, during, or after the ASA 2008 meetings (which run from 3 July 2008 to 11 July 2008, inclusive).Finally, please remember to book your own accommodation and transport.
