The HWWS 2008 registration fees include: The following registration and ticket fees for the HWWS 2008 meeting are in Australian dollars, and include GST.

Early registration will be from Monday 28 April to Wednesday 14 May, 2008.

Late registration will be from Thursday 15 May to Wednesday 11 June, 2008.

To qualify for the Member rate, ASA members must be financial, i.e. have already paid up all of their outstanding ASA dues (e.g. the annual membership fee).

To qualify for the Student rate, the student should be currently enrolled in their educational institution, and will be asked to present their valid student ID card at the HWWS registration desk upon arrival.

All speakers invited to HWWS 2008 will pay a fixed fee of $100.

HWWS 2008 ADDITIONAL FEES

Not included in the HWWS registration fees are the following additional items: guest tickets for the Quiz Night, and those for the Conference dinner .

To assist with conference planning, please indicate your and your guest's attendance at these social events, when you register online. It is the responsibility of each registrant to pay the necessary additional fees for their guest's tickets.

Please note that no insurance of any kind is included (see the Conference Policies page for more information).

HWWS 2008 ONLINE REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

HWWS 2008 registration and payment must be made using the online registration form and Shopping Cart. Payment will be by credit card only (VISA or Mastercard). For assistance, please see the Registration Help Page.

On submission, your registration information and credit card details will be encrypted and securely forwarded for processing - if successful, a confirmation message will automatically appear on your computer screen; please make a note of the receipt number for your records. A manual confirmation email from the ASA 2008 Meetings Coordinator should be sent to the nominated email address after about 2 weeks.

Please make absolutely sure to choose the correct category of registration fee when using the online Shopping Cart; cancellations and refunds after Friday 6 June 2008 will be possible only in exceptional circumstances (see Conference Policies). Underpayments will be promptly brought to the attention of the ASA Treasurer, and the difference will need to be paid in cash upon collecting the conference pack and social venue tickets.

If you want to attend both the ASM and HWWS 2008 meetings, then it is strongly recommended to register for them SEPARATELY . The online Shopping Cart system is limited in intelligence, and there could be potential confusion in ordering items from both meetings in a single online Shopping Cart session - if you try to register and pay for both meetings in a single session, you may fail to be registered for both (if this happens, the ASA 2008 Meetings Coordinator may contact you to obtain your missing registration details). If you choose items from both meetings, and do this in 2 or more sessions, you may be charged for the same item(s) more than once. Thus, it is highly advisable to register and pay for the items from each meeting in 2 completely independent sessions. That is, register and pay for one of the meetings (only) first. Only after confirming that payment has been made for the 1st meeting should you then proceed to register and pay for the items for the 2nd meeting (in a 2nd, separate, online session). This registration procedure should also greatly help the ASA 2008 organisers in keeping separate records for the ASM and HWWS 2008 meetings.
